Lili puts on her hat. She wears a yellow coat. Zsömle barks. He wags his tail. Outside, the wind blows. A red kite flies. The string slides in the grass. Lili says: Let's go! Let's go after it!
The string is long. It winds like a snake. Away under the bench. Up onto the little bridge. Thump-thump go Lili's shoes. Squelch goes the mud. Chirp-chirp goes a sparrow. Zsömle sniffs. He runs. Lili laughs.
A snail appears. It has a small, shiny house. They wait. Lili whispers: Let's be careful. The snail hides. They go on. Let's go, let's go! Zsömle is brave. Lili is brave, too.
The string gets stuck. A green bush holds it. Zsömle pulls it, but it doesn't move. Lili grabs it too. They count together: One, two, three! Hop! The string is free. The red kite flies, fluttering and floating.
The kite rests on top of the hill. Lili climbs. Step by step, she doesn't fall. Zsömle is by her side. The wind blows. Lili reaches it. She holds the branch. She holds the kite too. Got it!
A boy runs. He waves. His eyes sparkle. It is Marci. Marci says: My kite! Lili gives it to him. Marci laughs. Thank you! They laugh too. Marci thanks them, clapping. They go towards home. Zsömle wags his tail. The sun is warm. It is a good adventure.
