Elsa Beskow
Elsa Beskow (11 February 1874 – 30 June 1953) was a Swedish author and illustrator, known for her beloved children's books such as "The Tale of the Little Little Old Woman", "Peter in Blueberry Land" and "Aunt Green, Aunt Brown and Aunt Lavender". She combined imaginative stories with beautiful watercolor illustrations and became one of the Nordic region's most important children's book authors. Beskow's books have been published in many languages and continue to be read by new generations of children around the world.
