Bori and Benny play together. They have a big, shiny red ball. It rolls and bounces. Hop! Suddenly, the ball disappears!

"Where is the ball? Oh, where is the ball?" Bori steps into the garden to look. The ground is wet. She spots small, muddy paw prints. Are they dog prints? Buddy wags his tail and sniffs around. But the ball is nowhere to be found.

Bori continues her search. The grass is green and soft, and a soft white feather lies there. Whose feather is this? Perhaps it belongs to a duck? A duck quacks loudly, "Quack-quack!" as water splashes nearby.

A trail of water drops leads further. Drip, drip, drip. Ahead, a big, round blue bucket wobbles. Something rolls underneath it! Bori hears a "Thud-thud!" Benny listens carefully too.

Bori carefully lifts the bucket. Hop! There it is—the red ball! It's red and wet. Buddy barks excitedly. The duck looks happy. Bori laughs with joy. Their red ball is found!

So, the traces were: paw prints, a feather, and the bucket! Bori puts all the clues together. Now they can play! The ball rolls and bounces, again and again.
